Held in Bloom
Held in Bloom explores the relationship between transparency, light and organic form. Through the clear glass vessel, stems bend and intersect, creating a layered composition of reflections, distortions and colour. The vibrant cyclamen blooms contrast with the quiet structure of the jar, transforming an everyday arrangement into a study of presence, fragility and light.
A study of quiet structure and interior light
Part of an ongoing exploration of glass vessels, water and plant forms. Here, the flowering stems create a denser, more vibrant composition, while the transparent jar continues to act as both container and lens. Light, reflection and growth become the true subjects of the painting.
Through layered tones and careful observation, the painting invites the viewer to pause and notice the subtle poetry of familiar spaces.
Shown within a minimal interior setting
